The Sezin School
Circles

We envision our school as a place where every member can make a difference and contribute to the whole. We have designed a system in our school consisting of people who come together around common ideas and dreams: The Circle System.

The Circle represents an egalitarian structure where everyone can see each other. In these circles, people with different competencies come together and work towards a common goal. In these endeavors, we prioritize participatory decision-making, transparency in sharing, and bringing together different perspectives. We believe that holistic transformation can only be achieved with everyone's voice and contribution.
In our school, there are various Circles that nourish and strengthen each other's work.

The Root Circle determines strategies in line with the raison d'être of our school. It ensures the implementation, interpretation, and evaluation of these strategies. While leading processes, it serves as a role model for spreading our culture of collaboration.

The Seed Circle leads the discovery and application of innovations to be the best predictive and proactive ecosystem for the future of education. It disseminates the innovations it pioneers among Sezin stakeholders and establishes systems to integrate them into the school culture.

Why 'seed'?
We believe that schools are the grounds where the future thrives. The word "seed" represents innovation, growth, development, and dreaming. At Sezin School, each individual is seen as a seed, and their development is supported according to their own time and talents. The Seed Circle prepares our school, the fertile ground where different seeds can grow together, for the future and supports continuous transformation.

Seed Ambassadors
Seed Ambassadors are Sezin School stakeholders who take the initiative to join the Seed Circle through a call within the school each year. The Seed Circle and Ambassadors continue their work as a whole.
Ambassadors participate in competency development programs in "Design Thinking," "Effective Facilitation," and "Nonviolent Communication" from the start of their involvement. With the competencies they develop, they initiate transformation starting from themselves, extending to their surroundings, Sezin School, and the educational ecosystem, thereby creating an impact in line with strategic goals.

The Alignment Circle consists of Sezin School assistant principals, leaders, Root Circle, and Seed Circle members. In this Circle, we listen to each other about strategies, initiatives, and priority topics determined in our school, enhance processes with our improvement suggestions, and disseminate them.

The Registration Circle designs the acquaintance process that we hold each year with our prospective students and their parents. With this circle, we aim to convey our school's future outlook, design new experiences to explain our philosophy and culture of nurturing people, and strengthen our community, informed by our awareness of the changing world and needs.

When Sezin employees want to take responsibility in line with strategic goals, we assess and create working groups to realize this. These groups are open to everyone who wants to participate. They operate periodically and close upon achieving their goals. In this way, Sezin employees can take initiative according to their individual motivations and sometimes interests outside their professional roles.
